The construction of the pipelines that will export oil and gas from Myanmar to China is nearing completion. The pipelines have a capacity to transport 440,000 barrels of crude and 12 billion cubic metres of natural gas. The project is being implemented by the China National Petroleum Corporation and the Myanmar Oil and Gas Enterprise.
