PT International Airport Batam (PT BIB), a consortium comprising PT Wijaya Karya (WIKA), Angkasa Pura 1, and South Korea-based Incheon International Airport Corporation (IIAC), has commenced the operation of the Hang Nadim International Airport in Batam, Philippines. The contract is valid for a period of 25-years.
Under the terms of the contract, the consortium will develop and manage the airport over a period of 25 years. The Hang Nadim International Airport was previously operated by the Batam Indonesia Free Zone Authority (BIFZA).
