Connecting route between Purple Line and MRT Line to be run as an MRT system in Bangkok

The board of the Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand has decided that the 1 km route connecting Tao Poon station of the under construction Purple Line to the MRT subway line’s Bang Sue station should be jointly built by the government and Bangkok Metro Public Company Limited that currently operates MRT train services. Further, it has been decided that the connection should be incorporated into the MRT underground system.
