Commercial operations have started at the renovated Siquijor Airport in the Philippines. This was one of the key projects under the Government of Philippines’ “Build, Build, Build” program.
The Siquijor Airport renovation project included upgradation works on the passenger terminal building, runway, powerplant, and vehicular parking space. The modernised airport is expected to improve the Siquijor’s connectivity and movement across the country while also creating more jobs and boosting tourism business.
