CK Power Public Company Limited (CK Power) received the Asia Responsible Enterprise Awards (AREA) 2022 for “Hinghoi: Renewable Energy for Sustainable Community” under the Social Empowerment category. The award is to address the championing environment, social and governance factor for building a sustainable and resilient environment for its services. AREA has been an important corporate social responsibility (CSR) recognition programme for leading non-government organisations (NGOs) and enterprises across Asia.
CK Power is known to be the largest producer of electricity from renewables with the lowest carbon footprint. With its 13 power plants, it has been successful in generating electricity from solar power, hydropower and wind power.
