The Citi Group has appointed Vikram Singh as the new CEO of its Malaysian business. Singh’s responsibilities will include leading the country team of Malaysia. This includes oversight of the performance of Citi solutions centres in Malaysia. He joined the Citi Group in 1999. He has 24 years of corporate banking experience and has supervised 18 markets in the Asia-Pacific region. Additionally, during his role as head of corporate and investment banking in the Philippines over a period of five years, Vikram helped the bank accomplish double-digit revenue growth by devising and deploying robust business strategies. Most recently, he was head of Asia-Pacific regional account management.
