The China Gezhouba Group Corporation has completed the construction of the Takalar power plant in South Sulawesi province of Indonesia. The power plant comprises two 100 million watt generators. While the first generator was operationised in December 2017, the second generator commenced operations in February 2018. The plant is one of the key projects under Indonesia’s 10 million kW power development plan.
