The Changi Airport Group has appointed a consortium to undertake the development of Changi Airport’s Terminal 4 (T4). The consortium consists of SAA Architects Private Limited (lead agency), Benoy Limited, AECOM Singapore Private Limited, and Beca Carter Hollings and Ferner (SEA) Private Limited. The contract work includes the design and construction of T4. The two-storey terminal is expected to meet the operational needs of regional full-service and low-cost carriers. As of April 2013, the budget terminal has been demolished; ground breaking for T4 is likely to take place soon. T4 is likely to be commissioned by 2017.
