Changi Airport witnessed passenger traffic of 4.2 million during the month of April 2013, 0.8 per cent higher than the April 2012 figure. Compared to April 2012, cargo volume declined by 1.8 per cent to 145,554 tonnes in April 2013. A total of 27,544 aircraft were handled at Changi Airport in April 2013, which constitutes an increase of 4.3 per cent over the April 2012 figure. Meanwhile, Changi Airport has sold its 8.36 per cent stake in Gemina that owns Rome airport operator Aeroporti di Roma SpA. The shares were sold at S$2.35 per share.
