Ceragon Networks Limited (Ceragon), a networking equipment vendor, has secured a contract to design and supply a microwave network to provide internet and telecom access to the rural areas in Indonesia. Ceragon will be the primary supplier of the wireless transmission systems for the 4G-LTE access network, as well as the supply management services.
Ceragon will supply its IP-20 platform-based all-outdoor microwave solutions, which will reduce on-site building costs while optimising tower load and lowering total costs of logistics. The award of the contract is in line with the Government of Indonesia’s Universal Service Obligation initiative.
