Malaysian mobile network operator Celcom Axiata has entered into a partnership with Ericsson for expansion and upgradation of its 4G long term evolution network. As part of this partnership, Ericsson will provide Celcom Axiata with radio access network equipment from its Ericsson Radio System portfolio. This will enable Celcom to efficiently serve the growing demand for data services in Malaysia and transition its network to 5G in the coming years.
