Thailand’s state-owned CAT Telecom has postponed the shutdown of its CDMA network from end-March 2013 to April 2013. The operator that provides CDMA services in 52 provinces has sought more time to migrate its remaining CDMA users to W-CDMA/HSPA-based networks that it shares with True Corporation. True Corporation had earlier planned to stop CDMA services on January 27, 2013. True Corporation has, however, decided to continue its operations until CAT Telecom halts its CDMA services.
