KT Kaltim Prima Coal (KPC) and PT Arutmin Indonesia (Arutmin), subsidiaries of PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI), have received the Pelabuhan Sehat Award 2024. The event was organised by Kementerian Kesehatan Republik Indonesia (Kemenkes) on December 12, 2024, in Jakarta. KPC received an award for the PT Kaltim Prima Coal Special Terminal and Arutmin won an award for the NPLCT Kotabaru Special Terminal. The awards were given by the Republic of Indonesia’s Deputy Minister of Health, Dr Dante Saksono Harbuwono.

The award applauds ports and airport managers in Indonesia who have executed efficient operations under the mandate of Ministerial Regulation Number 44 of 2014 concerning the implementation of healthy ports and airports. The parameters of assessment for healthy ports or airports were environmental health measures, facility and equipment management, promotion of cleanliness and hygiene practices, workplace safety and health measures, maintenance of security and order, and strengthening of institutional frameworks. This accomplishment reflects the BUMI Group’s commitment to create a healthy and safe environment for its workers as well as the local community around its operational area.
