Brunei’s Ministry of Development (MoD) has released a comprehensive application called the National Spatial Data Infrastructure to make national data on geospatial information available to all government agencies in the country. The MoD, through its Survey Department, has collected information pertaining to aerial photos, topographical mapping, light detecting and ranging, and others in a system known as the Survey Spatial Data Infrastructure, which was launched in October 2012. Initially, the information will be available to departments under the MoD and later to other agencies and departments.
