Five companies are bidding in the RM 400 million tender for developing a breakwater project in the Samalaju deep-sea port in Malaysia. The bidders include MMC Engineering Berhad, TRC Sendirian Berhad, Inai Kiara Sendirian Berhad, See Yong & Sons Sendirian Berhad, and Piasau Concrete Sendirian Berhad. The proposals are being assessed and the winning bidder is expected to be announced in June 2013. Thereafter, construction is scheduled to commence in August 2013 with an expected completion date of October 2015.
