The central province of Bolikhamsay has planned to build the Nam Ngom dam for generating power. An MoU has been signed between the Provincial Planning and Investment Department of Bolikhamsay and LCM Engineering Company Limited. The feasibility report for the dam work is expected to be completed by November 2014.
