The Board of Investments (BoI) has granted fiscal incentives worth PHP 1.67 billion to four hydroelectric projects of Asiapac Green Renewable Corporation

  •  the 2.4 MW Dicapan hydropower project in Barangay  Lubon, Tadian – estimated electricity generated: 8.697 million kWh, capital expenditure: PHP 369.8 million
  • the 2.75 MW Upper Siffu hydropower project in Barangay Balangao, Natonin – estimated electricity generated: 9.63 million kWh, capital expenditure: PHP 400.7 million
  • 2.4 MW project in the Lower Siffu area in Barangay Balangao – estimated electricity generated: 9.9 million kWh, capital expenditure: PHP 426.8 million
  •  the 2.4 MW Tanudan hydropower project in Barangay Lias, Barlig – estimated electricity generated: 11.72 million kWh, capital expenditure: PHP 449 million.

 

The projects are likely to begin operations in March 2016. These projects have qualified for certain incentives under the Investments Priorities Plan of the BoI to help promote the development of renewable energy-based power generation.
