BNP Paribas has signed a deal with VietJet Air to manage the latter’s purchase of aircraft in 2014. Late last year, the VietJet Aviation Joint Stock Company signed an agreement to procure 92 A320 aircraft from Airbus at an estimated cost of 181,389 billion dong. Deliveries that will begin in 2014 will be spread over a 10-year period. VietJet Air that started domestic flights in December 2011 went on to become the first private airline in Vietnam to operate international flights in February 2013.
