BMT Asia Pacific, a subsidiary of the BMT Group, has completed its latest project with state-owned port operator Indonesian Port Corporation II. BMT has delivered a pre-feasibility study for a possible greenfield site in the region of Kijing in West Kalimantan, Indonesia. The proposed Port of Kijing will complement the current river port at Pontianak and a local network of coastal and river terminals. It will have a planned capacity of up to 3 million TEUs, 15 million tonnes (mt) of bulk capacity, and over 20 mt of liquid capacity per year.
