Valerie Speth has been appointed as the managing director of BlackRock’s Asia Pacific (APAC) renewable energy (RE)team. She will be based in Singapore and will be in charge of the firm’s investment and portfolio management activities for its Global Renewable Power strategy and Climate Finance Partnership (CFP) programme.
Speth has over 15 years of experience in RE business strategy, mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and operations in the Europe and APAC region. She was previously the Asia Pacific regional director for Juwi Holding AG and has also worked in the energy sector at E.ON SE and Accenture Public Limited Company.
