BDx Data Centers has partnered with the Association of Indonesia Internet Service Providers (APJII) to strengthen the country’s digital infrastructure. This collaboration includes the launch of a new Indonesia Internet Exchange (IIX) node at BDx’s CGK 3A campus in Southern Jakarta, which is tailored for AI inferencing. The node aims to establish the campus as a digital hub, enhancing internet traffic exchange resilience and efficiency.
The IIX at CGK 3A will enable a carrier-neutral interconnection ecosystem, optimizing connectivity for high bandwidth and low latency applications. This initiative will support real-time data processing, improve AI model responsiveness, and foster partnerships within Indonesia’s growing AI ecosystem. With internet penetration reaching 79.5 per cent, driven by e-commerce and digital transformation initiatives like Making Indonesia 4.0.
