BayanTel will not bid for the 10 MHz 3G licence that the National Telecommunications Commission will auction in 2013. The operator claims to have several unutilised frequencies in the 1900 MHz band and intends to use these for LTE deployment. Further, BayanTel has entered into an agreement with Globe Telecom recently and is planning to share the LTE infrastructure of the latter
