Thailand-based Bangchak Solar Energy has awarded a contract to Trina Solar for the supply of 25 MW of photovoltaic modules for the third phase of the 75 MW Bangchak Solar Energy project. Trina Solar will soon commence the delivery of the modules and Gunkul Engineering will carry out the construction work for the project. The 75 MW project will enable the country’s National Energy Policy Commission to meet its target of supplying 1 GW of solar power by 2014.
