Badak NGL has renewed its agreement with the State Asset Management Agency for operating the liquefied natural gas (LNG) plant in Bontang, East Kalimantan. At present, state-owned Pertamina holds the majority stake of 55 per cent in Badak NGL. Further, Total E&P Indonesie holds another 10 per cent, while Vico Indonesia and Japan-Indonesia LNG Company hold 20 and 15 per cent respectively. With an additional gas supply of 600 mmscfd from the Jangkrik complex, the Bontang LNG plant is expected to produce 156 LNG cargoes in 2018, up from 140 cargoes in 2017.
