The Airports of Thailand (AOT) will invest USD1.08 billion to expand the low-cost carrier terminal at the Don Meuang Airport (DMK) in Bangkok. Works on the expansion will commence during 2023, with the new terminal opening to passenger service in 2029.
Other works include the development of 12 aircraft parking stands and 11 jet bridges as well as DMK’s northern side, including renovation of aircraft parking bays and expansion of the concourses.
The project will increase the terminal’s capacity from the existing 30 million passengers to 40 million passengers per year.
