The Airports of Thailand (AoT) board has approved an investment budget of $1.28 billion for the expansion of the Suvarnabhumi airport. The sanctioned amount is yet to receive approval from the Thailand government. The construction work for the expansion is expected to commence in 2019 and get completed in 2021.
