Citi has appointed Amol Gupte as the new country officer for Singapore and head of ASEAN to replace Michael Zink. Gupte, who will relocate from Hong Kong to Singapore and continue to report to Asia-Pacific chief executive Francisco Aristeguieta, will oversee all of Citi Singapore’s businesses and operations.
His responsibilities would include developing and implementing the bank’s business strategy in Singapore and fostering client relationships at all levels of the organisation, managing risk and controls, and protecting and enhancing Citi’s reputation.
