AmInvestment and CIMB Investment Bank have won 16 awards from Alpha Southeast Asia at the 11th Best Deal and Solution Awards 2017 held in February 2018 in Kuala Lumpur.
AmInvestment Bank Berhad has won four awards and CIMB Investment Bank Berhad has won 12 awards. The banks have been awarded for their outstanding achievements and innovative capabilities in debt and equity capital markets and trade finance segments during 2017. The awards were based on detailed assessment of over 60 banks covering 200 deals and solutions.
AmInvestment Bank was recognised in the following four categories: Best Assets-Backed Securitisation Deal, Best Musharakah Deal, Best Mid-Cap Equity Deal and Best Secondary Deal, whereas CIMB won in the following 12 categories: Best Bond House of the Year, Best IPO Deal of the Year, Best Sukuk Deal of the Year, Most Innovative Sukuk Deal of the Year, Best Sustainable Finance Deal of the Year, Most Innovative Islamic Finance Deal of the Year, Best Wakalah Deal of the Year, Best Islamic Finance Deal of the Year, Most Innovative Wakalah Deal of the Year, Best Ijarah Deal of the Year, Best Loan Deal of the Year and Best Islamic real estate investment trust Deal of the Year in Southeast Asia.
