Allseas has secured a USD180 million contract with Prime Energy Resources Development to install pipeline and umbilical infrastructure for the Malampaya natural gas field off the Philippines. This agreement, part of the Malampaya life extension initiative (Project Sinagtala), is a part of the country’s energy security.

Under the contract, Allseas will connect new wells to the Malampaya platform using multiple pipelines and umbilicals in water depths up to 1,100 metres. The installation work is set to be completed by 2026, aligning with the field’s extension under a 15-year license renewal granted in May 2023. The project also involves drilling two development wells and one exploration well, with Noble Corporation handling the drilling, scheduled to begin in Q2 2025.
