French renewable energy company Akuo Energy has inked an MoU with state-owned Perusahaan Daerah Provinsi Bali for the construction of 100 MW of photovoltaic (PV) power plants on the Indonesian island of Bali. As part of the deal, Akuo Energy will conduct feasibility studies for the solar farms in the fourth quarter of 2016, with the subsequent development phase due after six months. Construction works are expected to begin in 2017.
