United Kingdom-based Aceton, a maritimeand subsea service firm, has secured a contract for Singapore-based Atlantic, Gulf & Pacific Company of Manila Incorporated’s (AG&P) LNG import and regasification terminal in Batangas Bay, Philippines. Aceton will undertake the installation of jacket structures to build the LNG berth. Other works include the construction of approach trestles, mooring and berthing dolphins, walkways, fenders, and mooring hooks.

The LNG import scheme is based on a floating storage unit (FSU) to be leased under a long-term agreement, as well as onshore storage and regasification facilities. The work scope for AG&P’s Philippines LNG (PLNG) project will also be managed by the Acteon Integrated Solutions (AIS) team. The AIS team will be in charge of the whole jetty building as well as all marine works, with the exception of the LNG product transportation.
