ACEN RES, an Ayala group unit, has partnered with PLDT Incorporation (PLDT) to power 33 PLDT facilities with 100 per cent renewable energy (RE) in the Philippines. This initiative is in line with PLDT’s commitment to mitigate climate change by reducing reliance on fossil fuels and transitioning to clean energy sources. Further, it is also in compliance with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Among the projects, the PLDT-Smart Integrated Operations Center (IOC) in Makati City is a two-storey facility which is equipped with network monitoring and multimedia conferencing facilities. The IOC is expected to enhance and deliver world-class services.
