Philippines-based AC Energy Corporation (ACEN) has acquired Sinocalan Solar Power Corporation (SSPC), the developer of a 60 MWp solar park project in Pangasinan. The deal is expected to be finalised by 15 December 2022.
The company will be sold by Sungrow Power Renewables and Havilah AAA Holdings Corporation for an undisclosed amount. With this move, ACEN has become the sole owner of SSPC, adding 60 MW of renewable energy capacity to its portfolio.
The acquisition was approved by ACEN’s board of directors in September 2022.
