Aboitiz InfraCapital (AIC) and Singapore-based Keppel Infrastructure are planning to build a desalination plant with new-age technologies in Cebu, Philippines. The partners have already submitted an unsolicited proposal to Metro Cebu Water District (MWCD).

The desalination plan will be able to provide around 30 million litres of desalinated bulk water per day. Keppel Infrastructure will provide its technologies and expertise to build and operate the facility including its reverse osmosis water treatment technology to produce safe drinking water.
