KN Energies and Vietnam-based INDEL Investment and Development Joint Stock Company (Indel Petro) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to establish a framework for co-operation on energy and infrastructure projects in Vietnam. The agreement does not specify a contract value, project scope or implementation timeline.

The partnership combines KN Energies’ experience in liquefied natural gas (LNG) and energy infrastructure with Indel Petro’s activities across the petroleum, energy, logistics and infrastructure sectors in Vietnam. The companies will co-operate on potential future projects under the framework established by the MoU.

KN Energies has operated LNG infrastructure since 2014 and provides LNG terminal development, commercial and technical advisory, and floating storage and regasification unit (FSRU) expertise. Its activities extend across Europe, South America and Asia.

The agreement is intended to facilitate the exchange of international experience and support the development of future energy infrastructure projects in Vietnam. No specific projects, investment commitments or construction schedules have been announced.
