D Depot Container Service has partnered with PT Good Logistics Terminal to establish a new inland container depot in Jakarta, supporting rising container volumes in the country.
The facility will be located near Tanjung Priok Port, approximately seven kilometres from the port, and will be developed on a 2.7-hectare site with direct access to key toll road networks connecting industrial and logistics zones.
Under the partnership, GL Terminal will manage day-to-day operations, leveraging its local expertise, while D Depot will support commercial operations through its regional customer base and relationships with global shipping lines. The depot will operate under the D Depot brand.
The new facility will provide container handling and depot services to improve logistics efficiency in Indonesia, where demand for container infrastructure is increasing alongside expanding regional trade. Tanjung Priok remains the country’s primary gateway for containerised cargo, driving the need for additional inland capacity.
