Korea Water Resources Corporation (K-water) has signed a partnership agreement with the Philippine government to develop water infrastructure in new urban areas across Pampanga, La Union, and Benguet. The agreement involves collaboration with the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA), Poro Point Management Corporation (PPMC), John Hay Management Corporation (JHMC), and the Provincial Government of Pampanga.

The initiative supports the Philippines’ ongoing base conversion projects, aimed at transforming former U.S. military sites into urban centres. K-water will deploy its Smart Water Network Management system to address local water issues, beginning with assessments by dispatched experts. The partnership aims to provide sustainable and climate-resilient water systems, significantly improving access to clean water in the targeted regions.
