The Government of Indonesia has launched 24 road sections spanning a total of 165 km in West Kalimantan. The sections were constructed at an investment of USD41 million. The construction of roads was undertaken based on Presidential Instruction Number 3/2023 in compliance with the Acceleration of Regional Road Connectivity Improvement.
Additionally, in February 2024, the government also launched 27 roads which were included in the presidential instruction on regional road construction in South Sulawesi province along with 209 km of road infrastructure spanning Tanjungbalai, North Sumatra in March 2024.
