Honeywell has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Green Solutions Group Corporation (TGS) to develop the Tra Vinh Green Hydrogen project in the Mekong Delta region in Vietnam.
Honeywell will incorporate its battery energy storage system (BESS) in the hydrogen plant. This will allow the use of renewable energy (RE) beyond sunlight hours and will provide stability to the grid even during periods of low wind power generation. Additionally, the BESS system will provide solutions and expertise covering the entire hydrogen value chain.
The project aligns with the Government of Vietnam’s commitment to achieve net zero emissions by 2050.
