France-based VINCI Airports has announced plans to expand the Sihanoukville International Airport in Cambodia. The airport will be expanded by adding a new terminal and the construction works are expected to be completed by 2026. The new terminal will be equipped with the IATA code ‘KOS’.
VINCI Airports has around 25 years of experience in Cambodia’s airport projects which includes Phnom Penh International Airport, Siem Reap International Airport and Sihanoukville International Airport. The three airports have handled 4.11 million passengers from January to October 2023.
