NEFIN has been selected as one of the Solar Power Producers to develop a 45MWp solar farm project for the Corporate Green Power Programme (CGPP) by the Energy Commission (Suruhanjaya Tenaga) in Malaysia. The project will be located in Teluk Intan, Perak and is estimated to cost around RM130 million.
The plant will have a capacity of 29.99 MW AC and is expected to commence construction in 2024. It aims to generate 60,750 MWh of clean energy annually and will reduce 47,385 tons of CO2 emissions. The solar facility will commence commercial operations in 2025 through the NEDA program.
