Ev-Dynamics Holdings Limited (Ev-Dynamic), a new energy vehicles provider, has delivered more than 70 units of 6.5 metre COMET electric minibuses to the Philippines. The buses include a complete powertrain and a vehicle control unit (VCU) that will operate the entire vehicle.
The delivery is part of a long-term supply deal signed, in March 2021, between Ev-Dynamic and GET Worldwide Incorporated (GET Worldwide). According to the contract, the company will provide GET Worldwide with 500 vehicle units within 24 months of the agreement’s effective date. This is a part of the Government of Philippines’ effort to replace over 300,000 old gasoline mini-buses/Jeepneys. The first batch of COMET electric minibuses was delivered to Metro Manila and Davao in December 2020.
