Singapore-based Goldbell Group (Goldbell), a commercial and industrial vehicle leasing and distribution company, has finalised the acquisition of BlueSG, an electric car-sharing firm. Over the next five years, Goldbell will invest more than SGD70 million in BlueSG’s business and technological capabilities. Additionally, BlueSG’s island wide network of more than 1,500 electric vehicle (EV) charging sites will be rebranded and managed by the company.
Goldbell will also develop an Open Innovation Platform in Singapore that will serve as a testing ground for innovative and experimental pilot technologies such as energy storage and management, enhanced mobility systems and charging technologies and smart city applications.
