AIS becomes first operator to launch 5G

Advanced Info Service has launched 5G ultra-fast internet service on the 2600 MHz it acquired from the recent 5D spectrum auction. The company plans to spend TBH 10 billion-TBH 15 billion on 5G network expansion over the next 12 months. Meanwhile, the company has made the first instalment of TBH 2 billion to NBTC for 10 licences for the 2600 MHz it won at the auction.
