Kumpulan Powernet bags 8 MW hydropower project in Laos

Zhenghong Building Road and Bridge Construction Company Limited has awarded Kumpulan PowernetBerhad a contract to undertake the development of an 8 MW hydropower plant in Laos worth $15.88 million. Zhenghong and Powernet are expected to sign a definitive agreement soon in this regard. The project is expected to be completed within 18 months from its commencement date, while the defect liability period is for two years from its completion.
