The Abu Dhabi-based energy company Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company (Masdar) and the Indonesian electricity company Pembangkitan Jawa-Bali (PJB) have signed a project development agreement for the construction of a 200 MW floating solar photovoltaic (PV) power plant atop the Cirata Reservoir in the West Java province of Indonesia. The power project is expected to be set on 700,000 floats moored to the bed of the Cirata reservoir and linked with the domestic grid.
