Suruhanjaya Pengangkutan Awam Darat, which plans, regulates and enforces all matters relating to land public transport in Peninsular Malaysia, has announced plans to launch an integrated ticketing system for all modes of public transport using the Touch ‘n Go Sendirian Berhad digital platform by 2019.
Malaysia’s LRT and mass rapid transit (MRT) have already adopted the system and it will be expanded to include buses.
