Passenger services have commenced on Phase II of Klang Valley MRT Line 1, which is also known as the Sungai Buloh-Kajang (SBK) Line. Phase II spans 30 km from Semantan to Kajang, covering 19 stations (7 underground, 12 elevated). Phase I commenced passenger services in December 2016. It spans 21 km (elevated) from Sungai Buloh to Semantan, covering 12 stations. The SBK Line is 51 km long and covers 31 stations (with provision to add three more). Siemens has supplied a fleet of 58 four-car driverless trains, of which 24 trains are deployed on Phase I.
