Telekom Malaysia Bhd has appointed Tan Sri Dr Sulaiman Mahbob as its new chairman effective from January 12, 2015. Sulaiman studied economics at the University of Malaya and the University of London. He completed his Ph.D. at the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University in the US.
