The Stock Exchange of Thailand revealed that 11 Thai firms have been awarded in Gold Class in the Sustainability Yearbook 2021 conducted by S&P Global. The 11 Thai companies ranked in the Gold Class category comprise of 10 listed firms: Banpupcl, BTS Group Holdings pcl, IRPC pcl, PTT pcl, PTT Exploration and Production pcl, PTT Global Chemical pcl, Siam Cement pcl, Thai Oil pcl, True Corporation pcl and Thai Union Group pcl; and one Thailand-based company, Thai Beverage pcl.
In 2021, the ranking of 29 Thai companies in the Sustainability Yearbook 2021 has made Thailand reach the 7th spot in the world behind the US, Japan, South Korea, the UK, France and Taiwan.
